Simple operation thanks to its innovative touchscreen

The operation of the Pelican Filling Line is simple thanks to the innovative touchscreen. Operators can select pre-programmed filling processes via the user-friendly touchscreen. Switching between different filling programs is quick and effortless, minimizing errors and speeding up production changeovers. The operator places the packaging on the weighing platform and positions the filling pistol above the opening of the packaging. The filling program is then started with a simple press of a button. The pistol automatically and precisely descends into the container thanks to a servo-controlled motion. This ensures a safe and accurate dosing of the product into the packaging.

Precise filling process

One of the main strengths of the Pelican Filling Line is its precise filling process. The machine uses a fine/coarse/fine dosing system, which completes the filling process in several stages. The process starts with a slow initial dose to prevent foaming, filling the packaging to just beyond the pistol tip, followed by rapid dosing to shorten the overall dosing time.

Finally, the pistol dispenses at a slower speed to ensure the exact amount of liquid is dispensed. As a result, the machine is ideal for products that require precise filling, is very efficient and reduces waste to a minimum.  This makes the machine especially suitable for companies working with liquids that require precise dosing, such as in the chemical or food industries.
